Lascar Bogdan
Bogdan Lascar was born in 1974 in Bacau, Romania. In 1998 he has graduated the University of Fine Arts in Bucharest, same year has joined the Romanian Union of Fine Arts ("Uniunea Artistilor Plastici din Romania"). In 1999 he presented 130 works in a personal exhibition at the Romanian Parliament - House of Deputies, Conference Hall "Constantin Brancusi". Other personal exhibitions include: "Hanul cu tei" Bucharest (2000), ROMEXPO - AM Press stand (2003), “Fundatia” Gallery (performance and exhibition, 2006). Group exhibitions: "Atelier 35", Museum of Art Constanta (2000), Italian Cultural Centre (2002).
His work also includes body painting for "Vanguardia" fashion show (Hotel Sofitel, 2001), "Fashion Days" (Romanian Parliament, 2002) so as for “Roberto Cavalli” (2004).
He is teaching assistant in the sculpture department of the University of Fine Arts in Bucharest and Creative Director for Clinic of Plastic Surgery "Prof. Dr. Lascar" in Bucharest. In 2005 he was awarded UNESCO gold medal in Athens. Works in private exhibitions in Romania, Germany, Greece, USA, UK, Brazil.
