Melenia Art Gallery presents, on Thursday 7 April 2011, the work of two gifted Romanian artists, Mirela Iordache and Mircea Nechita.
The concept of this exhibition based on the complementarity of form and colour, which will show, however, the different styles, experiences and tendencies of the two artists.
“Though our sets are so different, nearly opposite, the ensemble shall be harmonized, challenging and enjoyable, like a well-instrumented concert. Alongside spontaneity, vigour, and exuberant colours of the paintings we associated the engraving’s poor chromatics and the distinctive diversity of forms and lines in an attempt to complement each other.” (Iordache, Nechtita).
