Melenia Art Gallery presents on Wednesday 21st of September 2011, series of works of the Romanian artist Marius Burhan with the title “Between Static and Dynamic”.
The paintings deepen into exploring numerous states and postures which ultimately emerge into diverse rhythms. The body, either as a whole or fragmented, becomes the core of an adventure across an array of chromatic metamorphoses; it is the indispensable repetitive element of the rhythm, hence the suggestion of motion.
Marius Burhan is an artist fully committed to his work and to the creative path he has chosen. His tenacity and perseverance leaded him towards inspiring artistic experiments; his continuous research has gone into controlling and mastering his craft.
