Silia Philippou
Born in Nicosia, in Cyprus. She studied at the «Vacalo» school of Fine Arts in Athens and painting at the Nacional school of Fine Arts in Athens. She graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts and theoretical courses. In 1990-11 she was appointed as a tutor of art courses in secondary education.

She is Member of EETE (Greek Visual arts Chamber), Member of Greek Art Subjects Teachers union,Member E.KA.T.E (Cypriot Chamber of Fine Arts),Member of ΕΙ.ΚΑ (Cypriot Artists Union).

She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and she has made 5 solo exhibitions.Her works are in public and private collections in Cyprus and abroad.
