Melenia Art Gallery hosts the work of the Romanian artist Petre Serban during the months of July and September 2009.

His painting varies from still life to scenery and portrait every proposed theme bringing another side of his style. His studies gain through the simplicity of the things he represents in one motif.

His art has it’s origins in the roots of the Romanian painting, reminds you sometimes about Lucian Grigorescu or Dumitru Gheata, though being unique of its kind and making his own way, as his teacher Nicolae G. Iorga says.
