Melenia Art Gallery presents “drawings with allusion of colour” of the Romanian sculptor Bogdan Lascar.
One of the most preeminent and distinctive voices of his generation of artists, bred and envisioned as a sculptor, having a firm hand, he harmonizes cool colours, preeminently the harsh green which symbolizes life…, as Mr. Razvan Teodorescu says.
He manages to combine, in a diligently "anarchistic" way, the Mediterranean poetic spontaneity, with explosive color palettes, at the limits of pop art and neo-realism. His experiments lead towards different levels of perception.
